[edit 11 june 05] figured out what was bothering me! And I think I fixed it before =iduck had a chance to tell me I'm making the same mistakes she's corrected before >_>; um, learning is fun.

Remember when I thought Yoshihiro Togashi couldn't draw sexy people? I was wrong. So wrong. (turns out I'm the one that can't, but we already knew that) I was actually surprised how good hxh is, since I wasn't much impressed by yyh. It's so cute *_*

Anyway, I'm glad I finally was able to finish something, even if its just a simple portrait thing. For some reason, drawing lately has been really difficult.

and is it me, or is that spider really fat?

great colouring, it gives the picture a dark and mysterious feeling, fitting to kuroros personality =)

Okay! *cracks fingers* Lemmie see.. I love the lips, they're so shiney, and the earrings are wicked, although I'm not too sure how they stick on the ear. Maybe they have some kinda suction contraption in there keeping them on the ear :D The nose is awesome too, though I think it could use a bit of a darker shadow on the farthest side of the face there to make it stand out a bit more.... The eyes are kinda creepy :giggle: Maybe because they look a bit flat even though you have those highlights there. I'm not sure how you'd fix that.

As for the spider, I believe they have 3 parts to them, you just have 2. Think like ants! Though I'm not too sure on that, since it might vary from species to species. Though it might help it not look so fat.

Really, I adore the lips! *steals them!* :evillaugh:

ohhh that earring. so shiny. I suck at that effect, it makes me drool when it's done well XD

Of course the rest of the picture is also gorgeous, but that's the sweet spot.

Very smooth and realistic. I'm appauled no one commented this at all...it is very nice.

My only critique is that the eyes are a bit big and lifeless/no shading. Other than that,its a fine piece :)
