Smoke dreams of escaping soul are drifting by.
Dull the pain of living as they slowly die.
Smiles change into a sneer, washed away by whiskey tears.
In the quicksand of their minds they disappear.

You know, the first time I read he, I tried so hard to hate him. For Buseiou and Gyokutei and Koutenka.. but I love evil and blue, and when they occur at the same time (Kisame~~ Bass~ <3 ) I'm already lost >_>
I have no idea who this is >_> but I rather like how you have done it! Your attention to detail is what I have always admired about your work (ie the earings, necklace, etc) I think too the monochrome really adds to this.
woot... a more realistic Outenkun =3 Love the overall colour scheme... it's just so moody and brooding... so him
But then just a thought, the beret and the hair has so similar colour, it's hard to differentiate between them, and the cross looks to me like it's in the hair as well but then that's just me

I looove the jewelary.. *pets them* They're soo shiney and realistic.
I swear you're getting harder and harder to crit all the time. I don't think I can find anything seriously wrong with this picture. Though looking upon your gallery, I just noticed all of your artwork is either a portrait or the characters kind of laying there. Maybe if you added some more action into your drawings? Show a story or a purpose to what the characters are doing. Though maybe I shouldn't really be saying that, I'm guilty of not having a story myself most of the time But yeah, you're technical skills are just amazing
Heeeey, I saw him before in one of my friend's mangas.. *points* The detail and lighting from the jewelry's real impressive ^^ I still haven't figured how to color what little jewelry I include. xD And it looks fine as is.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
